So turns out that after a quick call to Burton the REI store did an exchange for the '09 Cartel bindings at zero cost to me. I am back in business. Anyone up for some night riding next week after work?

Don and I have been out to PNS a few times already. On Saturday morning we even got about 2 inches of new snow while we were there. Great for local boarding and skiing but not so good for the 10-15 cars we saw in the ditch, smashed on the side of the road and one actually wedged in between 2 trees on I-275. I'm glad that REI did the right thing and replaced your binding quickly. Love, Mom

That's cool. At least they took good care of you. Look at the bright side, you could have broken your face instead of you binding!
